At first it seems it would be like with Windows Vista, but ultimately not quite the same. In total there will be 6, but some of them are limited to volume licensing, hardware or emerging markets. The issues are:

is lost: Aero Glass, Aero Many desktop enhancements, Windows Touch, Media Center, Live thumbnail previews, Home Group creation.
Windows 7 Home Basic
Availability: Emerging Markets
Windows 7 is similar to starter but not as limited as this only allows you to run 3 programs simultaneously (as occurs now with the Starter version Windows Vista).
Windows 7 Home Premium
